Hey guys, Ive got about 100-150 pound to spend on a gimbal head. Ive got a 7D with a Sigma 150-600 lens on it and need a good enough tripod head for my wildlife photography. So can anyone suggest something in my price range, i have one years and years ago, it was quite heavy but i cant for the life of me remember what it was!

Any feedback and help would be fantasic!

I recently bought a ‘neewer’ gimbal head from Amazon, using it on a monopod for my 1d Miv with the 100-400 Mii. It balances perfectly, is not too heavy and does the job very well.

I too use a lensmaster gimbal.
Had it for a few years and it does a great job.
Haven't used any others though.

Had the Lensmaster too, brilliant item, superb quality and after service plus back up from a one man band ( do not think that as a disadvantage ) also easy to service. Google it and check out his website, it comes with complete some arca Swiss plates as well for attaching the camera / lens. Also if you want to mount it to an arca clamp on your tripod etc, the RRS mount for the 55 ball head base fits the base perfectly with a washer between them, I took pics of mine before I sold it.
