My computer comprises an i7-2600@3.4GHz, with 16GB ram, 1TB boot/programs disk, 320GB documents disk & 2TB photo storage disk .

I currently have an IcyBox 2bay USB3 enclosure with a 2TB + 1TB disks installed, which are my backups (I use SyncBackFree)
I have unexpectedly be given several external hard disks and a Seagate 3TB central NAS. I now have to decide which is the best backup solution?

1 - keep the computer & current backup arrangement

2 - remove the 2TB & 320GB disks from the computer and use the Seagate 3TB central NAS for day to day storage with the IcyBox 2bay USB3 enclosure plugged into it to provide the backups.

3 - A combination of the above

I need to dispose of some of the hard disks, I have too many so all unwanted units will be sold.

What do people think is my best course of action?

Thanks

I would suggest you keep what you have in the PC and backup to the NAS. You can't have too many backups.
Keep the icybox as a 2nd backup
