Hi there!

I've got a pop up background and train and was doing a few shots the other day. Spent a while ironing it. Not great results after ironing and now it's put away it'll be back to how it was pre ironing :bang:

As I'll be doing a reasonable amount with the background I'd like to upgrade the muslin!

Have seen the black/white double sided vinyl and am torn between this and the white vinyl. Will need a suitable support too (stand and crossbar) - any recommended ones for the weight of the vinyl? Anybody using the Bessel vinyls?

Will be stored out of the way as can't have it up all the time!

Thanks for your help

I have a bessel black/white double sided and am happy with it,good quality and thicker than the single white, and of course you have the best of both worlds with two colours

I can second that. I have a double sided and it is excellent

Cheers for that! I think that's the one I'll probably get!

What stand do you guys use for it?

I'm using the Bessel white vinyl backdrop not double sided, it of good quality, heavy duty and easy to wipe clean....had no issues with it at all and compared to most it is a good price

Any problems with the reflectance with the vinyl. Does anybody have any shots using the black/white background?

Thanks

Quick update. Emailed today, they're back in stock and ordered my stand and double sided vinyl. They're throwing in some free clamps. More than pleased. This is my second dealing with bessel and have to say that I thoroughly recommend them.

I'm very pleased....arrived today and they threw in a couple of clamps at no extra charge. Great service from those chaps (and chapesses) at bessel. Unfortunately unable to lift the vinyl because of my recent operation.....definition of frustration!

Finally got to use it (together with my Bessel beauty dish) - good first impressions! The free clamps they threw in are well up to the task. Was worried it would be too reflective on the white side but seems pretty good to me!

Bessel set here if anybody is interested.

Some nice shots in that set Shaheed, so what type of clamps did Bessel throw in, are they for keeping the roll from coming down, also what did you think of the black side of the vinyl ? is it a matt finish, or does it have a sheen to it.

Hi. Thanks for looking. They throw in some springed clamps to stop the vinyl unfurling. The black side doesn't look to shiny at all. Not had a chance to use the black as I only had a very brief play yesterday. Clamps did the job well.

They throw in te clamps if you buy stand and support at the same time.
