I thought I would give my fellow strobist fans here in TP the heads up on this as I have not seen it posted yet, but if it has I am sorry and feel free to delete...

Those of you that know of Bert stephani will no doubt have seen or heard about his workshops and the great feedback they have been receiving worldwide. This is his first workshop in the UK, although I'm sure it won't be the last.

I for one am wanting to go to this, limited as it is to 25 spaces I will be certain to ensure I get in there when the on-line booking opens tomorrow afternoon.

Those of you that don't know of him can see his relaxed, easy to follow no bull philosophy to photography for yourself in his numerous video's Confessions of a photographer and also his newer venture titled simply LIME here: Bert stephani on YouTube

He is very friendly and shares his knowledge freely which, as well as being a great photographer, has earned him a great reputation in the strobist arena.
 
oooh I love the lime stuff been following it for a while

gotta see if I can scrape the cash together quick, anyone wanna check out my prime for sale :D
 
hopefully be in a better position for the next one, it came down to this or my accommodation deposit :( and thats without considering staying n traveling
 
Would be a crime not to, it's only around the corner from me :thumbs:

That's a shame mate, but remember you can always sleep on a mates floor this is a one time event.. :bonk:

You don't want to test my couch, trust me. I had to spend 3 nights on it last week and I still feel 80 years old.
 
nah I haven't and someone mentioned when I do it oughta go on my accommodation deposit if anything changes I'll see if I can get on, and if I do I'll let ya know ;)

Bert said it was fine, but there is a fair bit of ramble on it. Would be interested to hear other people's opinions. Sometimes can't see the wood for the trees and all that :)
 
Any places left, Callum, I might be interested but it's a fair trek down for me so I'd need to know about accomodation etc....

Yup, there's spaces left.
I also have a link on the page for local hotels (tried to cover everything)

There's quite a few from the north. Furthest is Dundee I think

Should be a good couple of days.
The locations I have lined up should give us a lot of variety on both days :)
 
I sure hope not, as the person I met today claiming to be onform was considerably taller (and a little older!)

Would have liked to go to this but conflicted with other diary appointments.

Look forward to hearing anyones feedback / review of the days as if another one occurs I will try and make the time free.
