Hi Bernie! Your chillies shot is an original, and effective, take on the theme - our food has to come from somewhere, and I don't think many of us have shown that aspect.

I hope you don't mind a couple of little pointers. Your attachments would have more impact if you select Full Image, rather than Thumbnail. Also your chillies shot would be stronger if you could get closer, or zoom in more, to make the chillies bigger in the frame. We don't need to see the whole plant. Sometimes less is more. Just a thought.
 
I thought Chilli for the Cold theme before spotting the food title ;)
Good start to your 52.

I will echo Paul's (@Boots) comment about posting an inline image rather than an attachment. 800x600 is a good size to aim for as it doesn't overwhem but it's large enough generally.

Thanks Paul. I always welcome feedback and advice.
I admit that I was in a hurry both taking and posting my image, so more thought next time. And I think I'll have a play with more images of the plant too, for my own satisfaction.

it's pretty warm and humid here at the minute, so "cold" might be a bit "creative" this week.
Good advice on the Inline image - I can see the greater impact just from browsing the threads.
 
Hello and welcome. A good idea to start your 52 and yes posting bigger shots is definitely better, as said.
 
That pop of red is lovely.

I agree, like abstract, almost pixelated quality.

Now how you getting on with your morning light shot?? Not been the easiest week for that theme!
