Thank you Emma. I tried to shoot hand held with my 500mm lens, that might be a little bit of camera shake...Two for one - nicely caught! It's a pity for me that the one of the left wasn't quite as sharp as the other, but I love the eye contact!
Thanks Chris!Very good idea for the theme and very well captured, the squirrels are sharp and stand out well against the tree and great that you got one going up and one coming down, made me smile.
Thank you Allan!excellent idea for the theme, cute but certainly alien and well done capturing the two of them together
And not least the fact that they are unaffected by Squirrel pox, that they carry, and is fatal to the native reds.Grey Squirrel has largely displaced the native Red Squirrel because the of their superior fitness.
Thank you Susie! Not too many flying saucers as far as I can seeWhat a good idea to choose the squirrels for Alien, it fits the topic really well, and I like the 'two way traffic'
Ooops I missed the second one, I wondered how many flying saucers we would see this week![]()
Thanks Chris! Of course, I forgot to mention the squirrel pox!And not least the fact that they are unaffected by Squirrel pox, that they carry, and is fatal to the native reds.
Cheers Stan! Two nice and different ideas for the theme. Luckily we still have native reds up here in Scotland.
Thanks Mark!Clever use of the grey Squirrel, well done.
Thanks Mark!Great image for Alien Bernd love the fact that the one on the left is looking at the camera!
Cheers Carl!Well chosen Bernd - getting one is hard enough - to get two in opposing directions is excellent.
Thank you Tim! It's actually a soup plateGood call on using grey squiggles for Alien. Nicely captured and the inclusion of the blurred background adds depth to the shot.
Not quite so sure about the saucer Fox.![]()
Cheers Andy! I just took a handheld shot before getting my tripod out. While I was setting my tripod up, the squirrel that has given me the eye disappeared...Technical stuff: 160th at 270mm is always going to be hard to get sharp, but a good fun submission and I'm liking the eye contact![]()
Thank you David! I struggled a bit to find anything level to put my camera on for the night shot, and then the next day I forgot to take a photo from the same point.A pair of day/night Urban shots are interesting always, pity the camera's not in exact same position. But hey it's near enough.
Thanks Frank!Love Tokyo shots, though the day and night does it for me, the night one in particular.

Liquid assets - obviously well travelled ... or a collector.
Well travelled, collector only for SterlingAs Carl said, do you get about a bit, or are you a collector? or both even?

Great idea for the theme Bernd I like the composition. I agree with the others the shine is distracting
Sorry wasn't concentrating when typing that watching the F1!I dont agree with the shine being distracting -No shine means you dont see the crackers - kind of spoils the image/theme no ?
I like them for that reason.
