Benro and DC Stuffs

Very good supplier. Bought two items, both arrived safely within a few days, nothing extra to pay

Shame the pound/dollar is not what it was :(

Mark, I have not ordered anything yet, couple of things in the pipeline that will cost, so new tripod may have to wait.

Plus i`m not keen on avoiding import tax by buying from abroad, sounds silly I know........

I've had great service from DC-Stuff, No import duties or extra cost,.. only took 5 days from order to my door :)

But check out ffordes http://go.talkphotography.co.uk/?id=1901X550843&xs=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ffordes.com%2F&sref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.talkphotography.co.uk%2Fforums%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D30638 for their ex demo Gitzo tripods, Just bought a Gitzo GT5541LS from them for £450 and it was boxed new, minus the bag/dust cover.

Saved nearly £200 so very happy:thumbs:

Thanks, i had a look at Ffordes but they only really have the 3330LS in stock which suits the 500mm AFS lens, only issue is that its an aluminium type tripod and im wanting something in carbon to keep the weight down.Your 5 series tripod sounds like a bargain, wish i had saw it..:naughty:

Yeah Ade i used to buy loads from America when it was 2 dollars to the pound--those were the days. I keep putting off buying a tripod which is silly as i will end up spending on something else--so need to get either a Gitzo 3,5 series or a Benro C-397,497...

The reason i was asking about DC-Stuffs was that i could get a 3 series Gitzo for the price of the Benro if i get import duty and tax added on.
