I want to mount two Rotalight Neo LED units to my camera, they are 500 grams each with batteries.

It's for portraits and want flexibility with positioning,

Above + Below
Left + Right

Any recommendations on a product that will support this?

thanks

Manfrotto Magic Arm for heavy stuff, or maybe Micro Friction Arm for this?

There are also small cheap versions on Amazon/ebay that are actually not bad at all considering eg https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sinvitron-...9865738&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=magic+arm&psc=1 but the Manfrotto stuff is quality engineered and more solid.

Just guessing at what you're wanting to do, but an option might be the Micro jobbie, but attached to a solid bar/extension to get extra reach. A short length of 5/8in aluminium rod is very handy for building rigs and stuff, eg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aluminium...mm-dia-/271276331830?var=&hash=item84c1c393e7 Just file a little flat on it to prevent rotation and plug it into a M'frotto SuperClamp (y)

Edit: crossed post with Chris. That looks like it'd do nicely. I didn't think they'd hold 500g but if that's what they claim, I'm sure it will. You'll need a SupoerClamp to attach to a stand, unless you have a lighting stand with removable/right-angle spigot on top.

Buy or make a long mounting plate (an extra long arca swiss rail would work nicely) and secure two of these type things to it. Both ends strip down to 1/4-20 threads, one end will fit the neo directly, the other will need a nut or well nut to secure it to the rail.

thanks, I will look into these and see what I think's going to work for me.
