Beginner Benbo Trekker 3

I have recently purchased this tripod, and although it comes with a small ball head, was wondering what other heads it could take. Also does anyone know any quick releases that would fit.

Tripod heads are mostly interchangeable. If you unscrew your head from the legs, there should be a 1/4" or 3/8" screw visible on the legs, and most other tripod heads will fit. You can get 1/4"-3/8" adapters if the head you want to use has a different size thread to the legs.

Quick release plates are mostly specific to heads. So if you get a Manfrotto head it will come with a Manfrotto quick release plate, etc.

I have a Benbo and use either a ball head or geared head, both Manfrotto, both with quick release plates. I think I had to get the adapter Stewart mentions but as it was so long ago I can't quite remember, If you need one they're easy to find and cost only pennies.

True; I needed one recently (I couldn't find the one I had) and discovered I couldn't buy locally. Pennies on the internet for the item, but pounds for the post and packing!
