anyone else getting into classic Belgian Beer? I seem to be getting really into it lately so much so that I've started avoiding pubs that dont sell it.

Leffe, Duvel, Grimbergen, Chimay, Gauliose, Frulli

Ah, a man of fine taste. Leffe Brune, Leffe Trippel and Leffe 9 are all fine beers. I like the Chimay with the dark label but not the white one, and Grimbergen is lovely. Hard to find in pubs over here, and stupidly expensive when you do. I stock up whenever I'm in Belgium or Holland and bring it back with me.

Mmmmmm, you've got to try Kwak :D and Bok and Westmalle - yum yum

We have a Cafe Belge near us and I started working my way through their 50 odd belgian beers......

thanks for the links.. i'm going to be bookmarking them!

the porterhouse in covent garden is pretty good for a variety of beers and has paulaner and erdinger too.. but its a bit over priced.

 It's one of our favourite's as well. Plus they do 50 different mussel dishes and it comes in a huge saucepan........:mouthwatering:

It's only 8 miles from me :D

At least I can get something right

I love mussels. The people who run these pubs really should branch out and move to the north west. Next to my house would be perfect.
