Hi everyone, I'm Denis and I joined the forums the latter end of 2008. I've been an enthusiastic amateur photographer for many years using film and have recently moved to Digital format. I have the Canon DSLR EOS 40D which came with the Kit lens EF-S 18-55mm, plus the EF-S 17-85mm, and a Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f.2.8, EF 70-210mm f4, EF 35-70mm f3.5-4.5, and a EF 24mm f2.8 prime the latter three lenses originally part of my Canon EOS 600 SLR Kit purchased back in 1986 but they are still in good condition and I am using the 70-210 with my DSLR. I enjoy all areas of photography particularly Landscape and Portrait. In the short time I have been a member of these forums I have really enjoyed it, gaining knowledge from other members and advice about equipment (I purchased my Tamron lens following advice from here and I'm really pleased with it. I hope I can also help others with the little bits of knowledge I have in the coming months
