Is there a good book/guide to assist in this transition ?
 
Mark, Just started using LR got Scott Kelbys Lightroom CC book its great it starts at the beginning its like a Sears & Robuck catalogue. I also watched Anthony Morganti on You Tube found him helpful also.
 
It can hardly be described a "transition" since they are different programs and do different things.
I find the Julianne Kost videos on Adobe TV very informative.
 
I started with Anthony Morganti and Serge Ramelli on YouTube. Both very informative. Can also recommend Scott Kelby's book. Seen a post elsewhere on TP today that the Kindle version is only £6.49 on Amazon.

The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC Book for Digital Photographers written by Scott Kelby. It also covers LR6 as both LR6 and LR CC are the same (expect for some small minor different). Like you, I've transited to Adobe software (having been using CorelDRAW for about 15 years), and needed a guide book, I found this one very useful.
