Beginners flash

I paid £99 for or one and seen it on offer for as little as £39 in the past.
It's OK, and does it's job. I admit I haven't used it often. When compared to my Canon speelites recycle times are much slower. Feel of it feels a lot cheaper, but for the price, I think it's well worth £59.00.

You won't see them that cheap again, £39 is well below their wholesale price. That deal/voucher code was apparently due to a breakdown in communications between Jessops and the company that does their web vouchers :bonk:

Didn't realise that Graham. I just remember buying one in an emergency a year or two back (don't ask!), a month later someone pointed out on another forum that they could be bought for £60 less! :'(

I've had one of these for the last 3 years and it can usually take 3 consecutive shots before needing to recycle and it doesn't take a long time to do so.

Good reach too and worth the money at £99!

I too have seen that offer and was originally considering buying a Nissin Di622 from 7dayshop.

After reading a few favourable reviews on the Jessops one, I think I'll opt for that, unless someone can say why I should plump for the Di622.

Anyone know how these compare to the Yonguo or Nissing units? I suppose having warranty here in the UK with Jessops is a bonus in case something goes wrong.

Ordered mine from Jessops online 7pm Thursday, arrived Friday!!

I've had one of thse 360's for a while now and couldnt be happier, infact after seeing the temporary price of £59, im looking at buying 2 more actually for some more off camera work.

To answer Mickwreay's questions, they worked with TTL on my 1000D, and are now working with TTL on my 5DII so I presume they'll work on a 50D.

Much more lighting kit - and i'll need a lighting BAG :D
