Okay, found this pic which I took a while back and thought I’d run it through Photoshop. I thought it could make an interesting b/w shot to enhance it from what is a poorly exposed picture so I ran it through various processes in post editing and came up with what is below. I’m really not sure whether I’ve done it justice, overdone the whole thing or whether I should just bin it as a lost cause. I do like the pic but I’m not attached to it.

Also I’m really thick skinned (mostly) so your honest onions would be really appreciated.

As you can see I have my edit box ticked so if you fancy showing me it in a different light then…..

Cheers in advance
Roger

Hmmm, maybe it's a bit too contrasty?

I like your edited version - I like the way that you've just kept a slight colour tone on the red numbering and this makes the conversion work better for me :)

Thanks alot for taking the time, guys. I still can't make up my mind and may just dump it into the digital graveyard. There's something about it I liked when I boosted the contrast, dodged and burned etc but, I'm not sue now. Thanks anyway.

Here is my go at it. Used Lucis Arts several passes.

I quite like your conversion Roger, I don't mind the gritty look, IMHO it suits the subject.
