I thought i would start this thread as i thought it would be interesting to see peoples shots straight from the camera and again once edited!

Ill start with one i took when i went to Brick Lane a couple of weeks ago

^^^ Agreed. I like what you've brought out in the Gherkin, but perhaps you could do it as a local adjustment using the brush and then the sky would be unaffected and you wouldn't have the halo. Then maybe you could bring the exposure of the sky down a touch to add some contrast to the building and add a little drama (all depending on what you were going for of course).

I like the premise of the thread, so i'll play...
