Wow - really good idea. I'm not surprised the lions gave it good chewing though.
 
Sir David Attenborough did something very similar about ten years ago for the documentary Lions - Spy in the Den, with BoulderCam. :thumbs:

BoulderCam used a pro-grade video camera under a fibreglass shell, so it was just too big for lions to bite or run away with. :D
