Well, got a phone call yesterday, and I've now just sold my first 4 photographs... Done plenty for family and friends, but this is the first "out-of-the-blue" sale:woot:

Nice chap had seen 2 photos of his racing car on my website, plas I sent him another 2 proofs of his car in the paddock as well, and he wants the lot...

Get your order in at the bar!

How does it work then.. Do you have large scale versions with any PP done or do you then try to replicate the PP using the original file?

Any clues as to what pic's they were? ;)

I do all my PP and save as a full-size JPG, and then run a script to resize, add border etc for web use - no replicating of PP for print round these parts;)
 
I see.. suppose that is the only way to do it really

Well done.. getting paid for something you enjoy doing.. when you weren't expecting it.. Bonus!
 
Congrats: it's a lot easier than getting payment after they've been nicked . . . and I hope you got 8p per pixel ;-)
