because I've been spending a lot of time refreshing the kitchen with new drawers and doors made from scratch.

Started off cutting up loads of MDF

which eventually turned into lots of doors and drawer faces

that I then spray painted

and slowly transformed a kitchen that used to look like this

and I even made some drawers to go in the plinth at the bottom

So now that it is done and I'm not getting it in the neck for not having it finished I have a bit more forum time :)

Don't like the glass door so that will change to a solid one early next year but apart from that I'm pleased with it. Having all soft close actions on everything is nice too :)

you wouldn't like the deliver time I'd need :)

And a couple of bits were done with a handsaw.
 
Very good. I like what you have done with the lighting as well.

But those drawer handles are killers. Just when you have gotten used to them, they'll reach out and grab you - usually catching a belt loop on your trousers. Be warned ;) Unless, of course, you don't intend spending that much time in the kitchen now the deed has been done.
 
Impressive work. I'd like to do something like that but I'm too lazy, which is my biggest problem at times.
 
ok what's the sheet of cardboard that's been savaged by a sharp knife doing in the 3rd shot?

I have a plate fan in the wall extracting air through a filter to catch overspray. the cardboard was to catch some before it got to the filter so i wouldn't have to change it so often. It kinda worked a bit :)

Who's a clever boy then? It looks great. Am saddened by the distinct lack of monkey though :p
