Beauty Dish Cloth Diffuser

I'm looking for a cloth diffuser for my 70cm beauty dish. The only one I've found so far is the Elinchrom shower cap. At £35 this seems quite steep. Does anyone know of a cheaper option?

Does it need to be cloth?
They're usually made from the material that softbox diffusers are made from, ripstop nylon.
