I'm on holiday in New York and have just popped into B&H, this place is insane. I'm going to get a load of polaroid film as it's cheaper, I just have to be creative with my suitcase packing, thankfully I didn't bring to many clothes.

Good grief! I'll bet FP-3000B is a damn site cheaper there too. Not sure how bringing that high ISO film back through the scanners would be though?
 
Oh my, that is lush. I was saying to the CMS only the other day just how much I want to go to New York... for the sites obviously....:whistle:

I can't comment on Polaroid-type films, but I've carried many films of many speeds in 120 format through carry-on scanners on several continents now and I've never had a problem.

I would, however, try to avoid subjecting film to the checked-baggage scanner. That said, I did once leave a pack of Acros in my checked baggage coming back from New York state and even then it was fine...
