Be a wedding photographer for under £60 ?

Have you read the answer to the question at the bottom of the page? :cuckoo:

"The camera in this kit is a used point and shoot Praktica 950 AF Zoom, which has been fully tested by me"

I'm convinced

I have just sent him a question, I couldn'y help myself...

How much do you think a happy couple should pay for the talents of a photographer armed with nothing better than a £10 point and click and your tenuous words of wisdom?

I just love this line :

About the technical side of working with this camera - there aren’t any. As long as you are able to pick up the camera that came in this kit, put in the film provided, point it at a subject and press the shoot button! That’s all there is to taking a photograph. There is no need to worry about the light or the shutter or the focus? Just point and shoot and run all the way to the bank.

lmao :lol::lol: He forgot to add on the end: "before the bridegroom and best man catch you and beat you to a pulp"

Now I know there was a thread a little while ago about how it didn't matter what camera you have - a great photographer will always be able to get a great shot..... I guess this it taking that viewpoint to the extreme!

Actually, scrap that, the kit IS pretty awesome, some of the "lenese are made my reputable manufacturers. I'm a bit confused actually, only 1 is listed, but he mentions that some of the lenses are Carl Zeiss, some canon etc?

He's got loads! check his other items.. lots of different cameras too.. all that for £20!! cant be bad eh!! should we get a copy just to see if he's right??

Everyone on the forum send me £1 and i'll get it... :naughty:

Right. so if I decide to get married. I should expect the photographer to turn up with a camera which autofocuses, and you wont know on which point til you get the prints back. He must be a good salesman if he does that for a living.

Hope you don't get bad weather because that flash looks good for no more than 8feet at best ;)

I think it's bloody great, at least now i've found out where i've been going wrong ! anyone want to buy a D300 and a few lenses

Tsk macro wedding photography obviously.:p

Brilliant! I loved this line. "Pretend you are a “Professional Wedding Photographer” and they just might believe you!"

Has anyone actually bought this?

Nope fracster you are still in with a chance if you're quick ;)

Any wedding togs on who can tell me how much I could make in a year if I bought one of these? Although weddings have never interested me if the money is right and with one of these top of the range cameras I think its worth me getting some bookings - surely with his instruction I could get £2k a time :coat:

"One of these point and shoot cameras has a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens - you can't get better than that. The others have lenese made..............."

Says it all  :D

I've seen it all now... if only I'd seen this before the wedding I did life would have been so much simpler, no messing about with two cameras and swapping different lenses etc.:bang:

B0llox theres me spending grands on upgrading my kit to do weddings and i could of just got one of those. I hope the wife doesnt see that or i will have some explaning to do lol

I bet all the pro wedding togs on here are kicking themselves for wasting £'000s on their Canons and Nikons

I cant believe there are any idiots out there that would fall for this... Or are there???

Reminds me of another stupid fleebay item.... "a piece of old rope"... titled as "Money for old rope"....... The things people will buy!!!!!!!!!!

I sold a bucket of water on ebay, it was amusing at the time as a mate sold a bottle of exhaust fumes at the same time................

I sold an empty box for £40:lol:................no it was not a scam, it was a mint condition inner and outer box with all the inside packaging for an SME series3 improved Hi fi turntable arm. A guy in the States was the successful bidder.

I am going to have to go and rethink my entire business plan......

Stunning. The snake oil salesman returns.

Andy
