Should be worth a looksy.
Fashion photographer Rankin recreates seven of his favourite images as he takes a journey through a brief history of the fashion photograph. By re-staging iconic images by Cecil Beaton, Erwin Blumenfeld, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, David Bailey and Guy Bourdin, Rankin exposes the ways in which fashion photography uses fantasy and beauty to communicate something about reality.

Heidi Klum, Erin O'Connor, Jade Parfitt, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Tuuli Shipster, Mollie Gondhi, Daphne Guinness and David Gandy are the models for Rankin's shoots, while other contributors include David Bailey and Lillian Bassman.

I watched that, enjoyed it. He didn`t like the time aspect to using film though!

And I *heart* Heidi Klum.....

I missed the first part - only turning over when he was working with David Bailey.

What I saw was excellent. As it was on BBC 4 (IIRC), it will probably be on again I hope.

I saw it during the week, not sure they did seven photos and it's on again tonight so I'm hoping it's a two part thing.

One thing I did notice was that when they show the girls without make-up, Sophie Ellis-Bextor was the only really attractive model on there.

What I don't understand, is why it's listed on iplayer, yet not available to actually watch! Not that that matters if it's on tonight.

BUMP

REPEAT

This is on now!

And again at 2:55 in the morning! so if you've missed it and have Sky+ or any other means of recording TV or even insomnia :D then you can catch this again on BBC4!

Regards, James

it was great :D

Hello all, my first post :)

I was watching it at my Son's, he turned over to watch Ocean's 12 (and didn't bother to watch it all, the git) so I only got to see the first 15 mins.

When I got home I looked it up, and see it was on Freesat at about 3am. However, my dish had been moved by the high winds, I didn't fancy getting my ladder up there at night.

I cant see any future broadcasts listed, but would be grateful for a nudge if anyone see's it pop up again.

Yippee its back on
