I don`t watch much TV, but the first episode of this new series was brilliant. 21:00 Monday nights, well worth watching.........

Yet another excellent series from David Attenborough.

Cheetahs doing the Ostrich, Leopard seals and the Orcas chasing the "luckiest seal in the world" was simply awesome.

I've got it on Sky+ and aim to watch it tonight.

Anything with Attenborough is worthy of a watch IMHO.

I always try and catch David Attenborough's documentaries. All of them have been fantastic. Last night was magical. Some of the camera work and photography was outstanding, as usual.

O. I saw the trailer for this, but completely forgot.
Looked amazing, and it was also being shown in HD. Would love to have seen that in high def.

Attenborough dumbs down for the masses. Stunning footage but seemed a little aimless and lacking in interesting detail to me. Still, better than 99% of the dross on TV these days.

I recorded it on V+ from BBC HD. Stunning photography. Set the series to record now :)

agree with you all, been waiting for it to start and it wasn't disappointing- brilliant camera work , great subjects... Absoluetely loved the Dolphins catching fish....

If only the BBC made more series like this, it would almost justify the licence fee.

Watched it last night having recorded it on Sky+

absolutely fantastic, once again the BBC comes up trumps on Wildlife Documentaries.

I have it on my HTPC waiting to be watched! Hopefully will get time today.

The bit with the monkeys using tools, we were watching it jaws hanging. Was like watching humans discover fire for the first time. Amazing. Really is.

I recorded both weeks so far, just amazing camera work and so interesting, must be Attenboroughs best so far IMO. Have you noticed the quality of the macro photography, its stunning.

I love the 5 minutes at the end they devote to showing some of their tricks.

I pay £96 to R Branson for Virgin XXL with sky and £12 to good old BBC every month, for my son to watch Kerrang and Babytiger to watch all the girlie stuff in the mornings, yet when the BBC do put a good program on I am at work............

I know what you mean!

I managed to catch up with it on iPlayer though. Brilliant series.

sky+ ftw

Seriously.. how many of you watch it wishing you where there with a camera or just thinking what a good picture that would make or...

I probably should have added .. I do.. All the time.. and not just wildlife.. I see pictures everywhere :)

Chimps and baboons use tools too, and we could be watching something that happened in our own prehistory, a very long time ago. They've been known to throw rocks (weapons?), and I suppose the possibilities are just about endless, but not in our lifetimes!

It's the noises that get me! I assume they are real and collected by a tiny microphone near them but it's amazing the noise they make.

Yep, the same with Last chance to see as well. That would be my dream job, and i'm hoping to do that as holidays in the near future!
