I just watched Harry and Paul's Story of the Twos: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b045cn0s
where they made fun of Monty Python, Blackadder, Have I got news for you, and anything else that has been on BBC2 for the last 50 years. And they did it so well. The Cleese interview, Ian Hislop. Paul Mertons "Dolphin in a barf". Jools Holland. Jeremy Clarkson. In fact they did "150 of BBC Two's favourite presenters, actors, comics and politicians"

Ah well, that's an hour of my life I'll never get back. Spectacularly unfunny!!!!
 
The Poll Tax was funnier than that pish.
 
They also poked fun at the show "Grumpy old men". Is that what did it?

I guess if you are one of those people who never watch BBC 2, then of course your are not going to get it. Sorry I should have warned you.

I'm neither grumpy nor old. I have watched plenty of BBC2 over the years and got every single program they sent up. I just didn't find ANY of it remotely funny.

Yes. For those who've never seen Fawlty Towers or Blackadder and the rest, it's not going to make much sense.
