Bay 1 "TLF" - Twin lens Filter

Well, that works much better :0)

The combination of thinner rubber band and the filter holder being tighter to the front of the lens makes it completely stable. I've been rotating the lenses left and right continually and the band hasn't slipped and the adaptor hasn't unclipped so all good.

I'm going to tidy up the adaptors and spray them black then I'd appreciate it if someone with a Bay1 TLR could test them out? I'm happy to cover postage in return for some feedback. I'll send them with dual cpl filters as well as the 9 stop variable ND for long exposures. Of course, any 37mm filters you've already can also be used.

Cheers
Steve
I've got a 635 as well Steve so if you want me to test it out let me know. I've also got a few other TLR's I could try them on too.

Thanks Nick, sounds like a plan :0). Let me know your address via pm and I'll get them in the post. Cheers

I forgot I had this roll of Provia that I'd done some comparison shots on. I've just photographed the slides with my iPhone so not spectacular scans but it shows the result well. Shot using my Yashica 635.

The first image was taken with the interlinked CPLs fitted but rotated away from the sun (so they weren't doing anything)

This image shows the effect of the polariser when it's rotated so the marker is 90 degrees to the sun to remove the reflections in the glass and bodywork.

I'm going to send the adaptors over Nick to do some testing and get his feedback. I'll finish the roll of portra 400 in my 635 tomorrow using them as well.

Cheers
Steve
