Batttery for bronica etrs

I am watching a camera on ebay (bronica) but it says it's untested due to lack of batteries for the shutter. I'm planning on bidding anyway, but need to buy some batteries for it. Where online thats quick? I dont know what batteries it takes. Links loved.
 
It takes a PX28, I use Duracells, they are pretty way to get hold of, I buy most batteries from eBay , but you can pick these up on the high street too.
 
Sounds ridiculous but I'm having trouble finding them. If one of you, or someone, could post a link to either ebay/amazon whatever is cheapest, I'll be so thankful. I dont want to order the wrong one.:cuckoo:

Isn't unwise buying the Etrs untested :shrug:
 
I am inclined to agree with Brian
 
Lack of battery for testing means one of two things:
1) I know it doesn't work/it's broken, but describing it like this covers me from any blame
2) I don't have a battery to test it (genuinely)

So often with fleabay, it's the former. Caveat emptor.
 
I know it's silly. But the seller is a charity shop in my area and on ebay, and has said she doesn't know much about cameras and would accept a return.

I'm viewing it tomorrow before I make a bid. I've never seen or touched a bronica before. Is there anything I should test for? Though the batteries wont be here yet.

Well it will fire without a battery at 1/500 sec, but you could look at the lens to see if there is any fungus, and see if it includes a darkslide...but maybe you should download the manual to know how to detach the lens\back to have a look inside to see if it has been looked after and not full of dust etc.
 
Boots, Smiths,lots of places sell PX28 batteries so take a battery with you.
