Battery power for Kodak 355X Instamatic

Does anyone have any idea what battery powers the 355X instamatic camera?

I fully suspect that it is no longer produced, nonetheless with some voltage info etc I may be able to modify something.

The 355X needs either alkaline batteries type 4LR44 (also known as PX28A, A544, K28A, V34PX, V4034PX) or silver oxide batteries 4SR44 (a.k.a. PX28, V28PX, 544).

Personally, I'd be more inclined to go with the silver oxides than alkalines - alkalines are known have some odd effects on exposure and reliability with certain cameras, though I've no idea whether that would be the case with this Kodak.

4SR44s are easily available.
