Folks I have my New (to me) Nikon F65 on its way from Ffordes.
I gather it will take two CR2 batteries is this correct?

Anyone advice on what I should get, should I run with standard lithium's and how long do a set last?

Or should I invest in some rechargeable ones and a charger.

I will be a light user.

Yes you are correct CR2 batteries, the options you have are. Buy batteries and when exhausted through away and replace, if your usage is not that much maybe the best option.
The second is to buy rechargeable batteries and a charger, maybe the best option cost wise.
The third is to buy an MB-17 battery grip, which takes AA and then with all your other AA battery use, means that you can use these and not worry about spending again.

Like any disposables vs. rechargeables, best to tot up the two options and see how long it would take you to break even on the rechargeables.

I do have easy access to high capacity rechargeable AA's from my Dive Torch so that would be an option, wonder how cheap I can get an MB-17?

CR2's last ages in all my AF film cameras, I usually only have to replace them once a year or longer in each camera so I think you'll be alright for a while!
