Bathtub Test!

During a visit to the mental asylum, I asked the Director,
"How do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized?"

'Well,' said the Director, 'we fill up a
bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon,
a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub.'

'Oh, I understand,' I said. 'A normal person
would use the bucket because
it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.'

'No.' said the Director, 'A normal person
would pull the plug. Do you want
a bed near the window?'

The Director of a mental asylum was taking a walk through the grounds one day.
By the swimming pool he saw George and Susan.
Suddenly George fell into the pool and started to sink
Without thinking Susan dived into the pool and pulled George out.

Later that day the director called Susan into his office.
I have both good news and bad news for you he said.
The good news is that through your selfless action in saving George
you have shown yourself to be sane and you will be released back into society later today.
The bad news is that George hung himself this afternoon in the changing rooms and died.
Susan looked at the director and replied George didn't hang himself that’s where I put him to dry out.
