Yes
My camcorder died, so I decided (for a few reasons) to not replace with another camcorder and try a Sony A6000 mirrorless camera.

I was a bit apprehensive how it would deal with recording my basketball matches due to poor indoor light, fast action, and multiple subjects in each frame (my Nikon D5100's autofocus really struggled). I was also concerned by battery life and overheating issues when recording 15-20min clips each quarter.

Very pleased with the result though! Although the camera work by some of my teammates while I was on the court left a little to be desired!! No overheating issues, swapped battery at half time (although I probably didn't need to), autofocus did a great job, and I like the image quality.

Great little camera!

I was born in Sutton and lived there until I got married, took my first driving lesson up Sutton high street, now pedestrian only . Loved watching the trolley bus unhitch and reconnect to overhead cables at the green bottom end of high street . wonder if the old tram rails are still buried under the road, and the coppers running to get to their blue phone box when the blue light on top flashed
