when i copy photos i always use the desktop pc as i have a cd writer and its just like tape to tape ha ha


now i have a lap top and only have one disc drive.

so when i have a cd of photos how do i put themon my hard drive and then transfer them to another cd?

i just cant work it out

please help :shrug: :shrug:
 
Not sure I understand fully, but just copy them from the cd to hard disk and then copy them back to cd drive with a blank disc in

Edit: I just checked and you can drag the files from the cd onto the cd drive and it stores them as temp files to write to another cd
Does that make sense cause it it sounds like jibberish to me :)
 
You need to use CD writing software to copy a CD.

Most CD writing programs have a 'copy' option on the menus. In nero I think it is on the 'recorder' menu - copy disc.

The software will make a temporary copy to the hard drive then burn it to the new blank CD.

Are you using Windows XP ?

If so, select the files via My computer - drag and drop them on to your desktop.

The insert a blank CD, drag the files back across and click the burn files to CD button. That will do everything.

Not 100% sure on Vista as yet, but I am presuming it is the same.
