Now this is a pretty basic question and i'm pretty sure I know the answer, but confirmation would be appreciated.
I've got a 7d and 430ex2 at the moment with a 6D on the way.
As the 6D has no onboard flash, to use a speedlight off camera I'd need to buy either a master flash (580ex for example) and use as a remote, a remote trigger or an (e)TTL cord? Am I right in thinking with all 3 options you get the option of high speed sync too?

Thanks.

Hi. I don't use 3rd party stuff, but an EX1 from Canon can fire multiple flashes off camera. You can also use a 580ex on camera to fire a 430ex off camera. Not sure about the 430exII though. I've played around with them, its fine but you will probably need light modifiers and therefore lightstands and hotshoe adapters. Start out with them plain and simple and see what you get.
