Well, Barry has excelled again, he made some delicous ice cream out of the Ben & Jerry book I got him, it was absolutely delicious, smooth and creamy and a little alcoholic, I said to him 'you know what would be nice on this?.......some Marabou'....he did look at me oddly, after thinking about it I realised I meant Malibou :lol: :lol:

I bought a tub of Half Baked the other night and scoffed the lot :(

I did give my wife a spoonful though so she could taste it! :D

I bought a tub of that stuff the other night, I have a teeny bit left. Chocolate brownie + cookie dough = best ice cream ever + heart attack in a tub.

It tastes so good, but its sooooo bad for you :(

We actually found a Ben and Jerrys shop in Amsterdam, it was ace.
 
Yeah I went in that shop when I was in Amsterdam. Would have gone in the Haagen-Dasz (sp) shop too, but didnt have time.
 
That book's excellent! Nicest ice cream we ever made was Blackberry & Calvados flavour...yum yum yum!
 
Simple - basic, sweet cream (B & J No.1) base ++++++ Kahlua and Amaretto. (Didn't have the Kahlua but we had some Coffee Liquer left from our Cyprus trip).... absolutley scrummy - hic burp! ;)

Hey Marianne...........get the Janet & John CD in aid of CHildren in Need!

There are about 15 hilarious episodes in there and they mention Ben & Jerrys in one of them!! :lol: something along the lines of:

"she spent the afternoon tasting Ben & Jerry's, then went down to Devon to get some hot winkles in cider!"

BUY IT!!!!
 
Now, hot winkles in Cider just doesn't sound like a good idea at all! :(
