Nice video but the title is very misleading as there is no welding just people working in a forge.
 
I enjoyed watching that.

A proper, character building job that, something this country needs more of. Can't imagine too many of todays young uns wanting to do it. (great job in Winter though (y) )

Agree about the title but it is a great video. Good to see there are still some with those skills, but a shame there are not more.

I recall James Dyson saying (some years ago) that if you wanted something fabricating you could walk down a number of roads in the west midlands and you would find people who could do it, but that those skills were disappearing.

He's also said that Britain is crap at manufacturing because we're not open to change.
When he designed the round plugs for his vacuums, he couldn't find a single UK manufacturer willing to make them, so he had to get them made in France.
