Hello Allan,

glad I picked the right one!

I had it down as some kind of chocolate croissant.
 
All of these could have worked but I like the one you chose the best. My first thought was that she was laying our a pastry, piano keyboard... :D
 
Week 37 emotion

Took my sons van to the garage yesterday, the bill made me emotional. Next door was a storage area. For many of us its the last car ride.

Thanks Dave, it was either spuds or cats eyes in the road. :)
I would have liked the eye of Horus as well but he is not on my Egyptian stuff. :(

Hello Dave, thanks for your comments and inquiry.

This building is a mile or so away from my home, the light is emanating from a display board on the front of the building, kind of rotating adverts situation.
Frequently when I am having a fag in the back garden the whole sky lights up and as the board changes adverts the lights change colour, sort of a mini northern lights in my garden. :)

When the topic "night" came up, it was the first thing to come into my head to photograph it "on site" so to speak. It defeated my objective to image it full on so decided in a side view posing a bit of question as to the light source.

This was close contender but didn't carry the mystique as well as the red coloured light did in my view, everything is a bit too clear and crisp despite the same 5 sec exposure. There are a couple of stainless benches in front where the lights hits the ground and I had thought to capture the reflections from those as well but these were so nice I opted to save that for another day.

Heavy shot made me smile, ours does that as well. Think the red works better especially around the tree

That's what I thought, a nice enticing pool of light with a mini stonehenge, the blue light showed it for what it was, safety barriers. LOL

Dogs are mad, I used to have two jack russels and they would almost carry a tree, one at each end running along together. :ROFLMAO:

A couple of really nice shots Wayne, I particularly like your re-edit of your night shot.
 
The light from the advert really works, appears to be emitting into the night. I wonder about a closer shot, maybe looking up at the advert light with less of the buildings?

That's a great idea Alan, I will have another look at the scene, when we get a clear night !
