Week Eight - Vintage

The design of the function of this toaster is incredible, one side is toasted and then by some kind of cam action the frame pops out and turns over the bread to toast the other side. This design must have been shortly after toasting bread on a toasting fork by the fireside and before some bright spark thought of toasting both sides simultaneously.

Interesting shot and object.

Not sure the pack of butter adds much to the scene. I think it would be better with some in a butter dish.

Nice lighting.
 
What a cool object. I really like the setup, it has a classic still life feel to it.
 
That takes me back, our toaster was much less sophisticated. Relied on sense of smell to know when to flop the cover down and turn the bread over. I had a finely tuned nose for toast on the cusp of burning as a pre-teen ! Fantastic.

I had, what I thought, was a great idea for time and had three attempts at it but just could not make it work and fell behind. Apologies.

In a desperate attempt to catch up, I have been focusing on my film adventures, I shot all the photos in one outing.

It's a good little scene you've captured there and with the added bonus of the reflection.

very Lucky as I was out this morning and had taken the shot while I was chatting with the guys and came back home and there was the theme. :p

I must have picked up on Lindsays Vibe simultaneous .

I like the colours in the halo there, and the fact that it's almost triangular against the sphere of the moon.
