I keep going on how lucky I have been this year to anyone that will listen.

I started out in digital photography this year and was looking for a decent camera. I ended up going for a Nikon d200 and love it. Here's my bargains for 2009

d200 with Nikon original grip, Sigma 50mm 1:2.8 DG macro D lens, 4 1gb CF cards, Nikon NX software (sealed) and Picture it software (sealed) all for £500.00

Then an SB-600 for £116.00 Brand new, German instructions though :(

Macro Bellows £10.00 inc delivery

4 Nikon fit lenses
Sigma 17-35mm D Aspherical EX
Sigma 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 APO DG
Tamron 70-300 1:4-5.6 LD TELE-MACRO
Nikor AF 35-70mm
All four for £120.00

I also got a smashing lens from dangermouse1964 with a swap on an Olympus film camera. What a star he is ;)

It's been a great year of bargains for me this year. Why not post your bargains for 2009 in here :)

Can I also add that the items I bought including the d200 I checked out their history and are not stolen goods.

The d200 came from a pro togger that had upgraded both his bodies and didn't want the hastle of selling on eBay. The four lenses were from a semi-pro that shoots for a Conference football club and was moving to "L" glass.

I think my biggest bargain of the year was a mint condition D300 body with everything you'd get from new for just £550. It had done 20k clicks but that's nothing really.

I also got a very good price on my 70-200mm f2.8 VR from Whitey which instantly became my favourite lens.

My best bargain was my last one. D300 in mint condition, with all the boxed goodies, under 4k actuations, with the MB-D10 grip, 3 memory cards, spare battery, all for £800 delivered.

I went to the TP convention in York, first prize in raffle(I won) was £150 from the very generous Kerso so I added £19 and he sent me the sb-600.

So for those who didn't go :bonk: get yourself to next years.

Second hand 24-70L for £500 earlier in the year from ebay. The reason it was thus cheap was because of a scratch on the body!

Everything just oozes awesomeness with it otherwise :)

10 stop ND filters from welding glass for roughly a 1 quid a filter (as opposed to 60)...

That was a bargain for me.

Also got 2 MF (Pentacon-6) lenses for free and with 70 quid adapter turned them into tilt lenses. Pretty nice considering the price of T/S lenses out there...

I got an enlarging lens F2.8 for macro this week £10 posted, that may be a good buy.

Also a Nikor F2.8 Lens for £19.00 + £3.50 P&P He originally wanted a Tenner P&P (shocking) but I'm far to tight to pay that much to post one lens

Great to read all these bargains

I joined the Talk Photography Forum and it cost nothing. Now that really is a bargain:thumbs:

70-200 F4L for £200 from my wedding tog who I have become good friends with, he upgraded to the 2.8IS so this was redundant, and on my crop body gives me over 300mm which is long enough for me for now!

CGeezer, I just want you to pick 6 numbers for me on Saturday...

My bargain, brand new D300 £880.

I just love this camera.

Will be more of a bargain when I finaly force myself in to selling the D90!!!

mine is Nikon D70s and 18-55 VR Mintish for £145

A fridge full of 120 colour film for free, and I have only used about 10 films.

Mum isn't to happy.....

got a D300 back in april in currys for £988.00 with a bag and a 4gb card.

my best bargain was a mk1 version of the canon 50mm f1.8 for a tenner from a carboot, i then sold it on fleabay for £100 and then bought myself the minolta 50mm f1.7 from my good mate lawrenceots.

I think i got a bargain with all this for £1,600.00

1 Nikon D300 Body 8 months old 2250 shutter count
1 Nikon 24-70 f2.8 lens with pro1 uv 12 weeks old as new
1 Nikon MB-D10 Battery Pack and extra battery
1 Lowepro 250 classified
2x Sandisk extreme 8gb CF cards

I brought this from a chap who brought it all thinking he would take up photography, he found it too much to handle and brought a compact, i made him an offer of £1,600 thinking he would say no buy he said yes, i am still laughing.

I got a nikon 70-200 3.8 vr with a 1.7 convertor in pristine condition for a grand.
Also got a 12-24 nikon for £350

Looking at this lot I need to try harder next year :)

Mine too. Couldn't remember the price but I pointed Yv at the bargain so I guess I paid the same.

Nikon factory refurbished D300 from SRS Microsystems with 2 year warranty for £849 - can't wait for it to be delivered.

When I bought mine from their ebay shop last night they had 2 more at the same price - not sure if they still have them.
