Question for Barbour jacket wearers, do you wear yours over sized and if so by how much?

Absolutely love the jacket, its like new, with history, and I'm not likely to see anyone wearing the same.
My only problem is, I feel it to big! Wife says thats how your supposed to wear a Barbour but I'm not convinced, I am a 46" and the jackets a 50" lol

Not sure whether to keep it and look like one of Ken Dodds Diddymen , or put it back on ebay...... Advice Please.
 
I couldn't turn around in mine :D
A little large to allow for a jumper etc but not over-large for me.
 
Clothing sizes are a nightmare. Cannot beat trying on before you buy.
 
hmm i have 4 barbours, ranging from 44" through to 50" and they all fit me fine...

No idea as to how they size them.. likewise, with barbour shirts, steve mcqueen ones, i need xxl, but others are L or XL.

Agree. I bought a Barbour in their shop in Guildford the other week (my third!) and it was sized as small but fits me fine (normal 40" / Medium).
 
I'll chance £50 delivered though if not happy with it.. ;-)

Think its going back on ebay, gutted really as I would have loved to keep this jacket, more for the Canon Williams logo.
