Mrs G planned to deposit £600 in the bank this morning, this money came from me in two lots of £300 over a few days. It came from an atm machine in two withdrawals and was checked this morning before placing in an envelope to deposit in her bank. The money when handed over was counted again by the bank assistant and deposited into her account.
Imagine her surprise to receive a call a short time later from the same assistant claiming that the money deposited was £10 short to which Mrs G said well I am sorry but that same money had been counted a number of times before you yourself counted it, and you found it to be correct at the time of depositing it, so as far as I am concerned the correct amount was given to you.
