Last night I souped my first two rolls of SFX200. As soon as I poured the stop out I new I'd cocked it up. The stop live in a 6pt milk carton adn there's about 1.5l in there. I poured it into my a measuring jug but only poured 600ml into it. Two rolls in a Patterson4 need 1000ml.:bang: Not much I could do at that point so I put the fix in and left it for a few minutes.
I pulled the rolls out and left them to dry. When I came back to them this morning I noticed the first roll out (the top one in the tank) had a tide mark and some staining. I assumed that this was where the developer wasn't stopped and kept going while I was surfing the net.
I've just checked the other roll which had enough chemicals to cover it and there are some similar stains (a bit yellow) as the other roll despite the fact there were plenty of chemicals.
Can they be recovered? There's actually a couple of decent negs that might be worth printing and it'll be a shame if they've been stuffed by some crappy processing. I've heard people say you can re-fix films but can they be re-stopped or is it even worth it?
TIA,
Kev
