Hi, I am in trouble! Somehow I have mislaid the qr plate on my Sirui K-X Series ballhead, I wanted to photograph the amazing Supermoon the other night, and had to hand hold my massive 200-400 lens!
If I'm still unable to find it, I will have to replace it, any clue as to what to look for would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

You'd be looking for a Sirui K-X (compatible) QR plate. Very quick look suggests that Carmarthen Cameras would be a reasonable start point.

Looking at pictures of the model......is the plate Arca Swiss type? If so then I surmise any AS plate will do the job for you?
 
Just something to think about?

As you are using a ballhead the size of the QR plate used on a large heavy lens is not as critical as when using a Gimbal where setup to find the balance point is required but if the 200-400mm you refer to is the Canon one then Wimberley not only make a long lens plate but also a replacement foot that is AS grooved. So should you ever hire of buy a Gimbal then the longer plate or replacement foot would be a goof idea?
