Ball head for Gorillapod

I was bought a gorillapod slr-zoom for xmas, which was nice . I've not had a chance to use it in anger yet but soon I will. I still need to get a ball head for it, so any recommendations would be great, ideally under £50.

If it has a standard 1/4" or 3/8" thread (looks like it does from the website) then one of the Redsnapper ball heads (they have one at £30 and £50). Not sure what the £30 is like, but the £50 is highly regarded.

Ah good old redsnapper. I've already got the RS-284 and it's great, even if I have managed to get sand into every crevice, on the tripod I mean

I'll certainly keep the £50 one in mind but if anybody has experience of the RSH-61 that'd be great.

Ben - I'd go for one that matches any other tripods you might have (or intend to get) so you keep the same QR plate across all your tripods. That way you don't have to keep swapping things about to move from one to the other

I've got a Giottos MH7002-652 working quite happily on my SLR-Zoom.. Which comes in under you £50 budget

Well I've just checked out the redsnapper site and the QR plate I currently use doesn't fit on their ball heads anyway, so I'm pretty much free to pick and choose whatever head I want. Will have a look at that recommendation though, thanks.
