Was quite taken with the rather cool retro looking Canon QL17, and read some good things about them & the 40mm lens. Maybe true/maybe not?
But after just paying £47.00 for a minter, with original lens cap, case & instructions, it's a yey or ney trial I can afford without getting too pi$$ed if we don't get on! Though I'll do my very best to keep my end up!
He's nice to hold in the hand, I like the weight, and that little focusing lever is the business (such a short throw too). Am looking forward to blasting a role through it over the next week, although this is really just me seeing how I get on with a cheap rangefinder before seriously considering one 'O' them Bessa R3A's. I'm falling for those little monkeys in a big way!
It's going to be quite hard to not get a full size dose of G.A.S! I was a session drummer for quite a few years & musicians G.A.S landed me with twelve drum kits & fifty odd snare drums....Although on the plus side cameras are much easier to store.
