Bag suggestions to fit a super telephoto?

So I'm in the process of purchasing the Sigma 150-600 Sport to replace my Canon 400 5.6L and I've come across this issue!

This is all in my Lowepro pro runner 300

It does go with a bit or rearranging but it's bulging the sides of the bag a bit and it's far from ideal...

So, what bags are others using/arrangement? Ideally I would like something that will still be able to fly as hand luggage as I travel a lot and this will be coming with me from time to time! I've been looking at the Lowepro Vertex 300 but although it fits within large airline carry on if not too packed up, it does seem too big to fit smaller airline carry on restrictions and I do have to fly on smaller airlines at times. Trying to avoid having to get the airport Lowepro roller range.

Any suggestions welcome :) Thanks!

Mine fits nicely in my Lowepro AW400.
 
Flipside 400aw for me too, holds sigma 150-600, Nikon 70-200, 24-120 and 16-35

I've just bought a Think Tank Glass Limo (recommended by someone on here). It'll take the 150-600 sport with some space for other lens. I'm not sure if it is hand luggage size though.
 
Tamrac anvil slim 15 would be a good choice. I personally use a Gura Gear Bataflae 26L and I love it (which is now the Tamrac G26). I personally don't like the body side access of the flipside400.
 
Think tank airport accelerator. Will take a 1DX with a 500 hood reversed. 1Dx with a 300 f2.8 with hood reversed plus a 100 mm and 17-40 so would probably take your gear nicely and still carry on size
 
Cheers for the suggestions so far guys, got them open on various tabs comparing them! Keep the suggestions coming, if anyone fancies putting shots up of their bags packed that would be even better!
 
BTW, what is the purpose of the bag? I hate working out of backpack bags... for me they are only for transporting gear. And in that realm I generally prefer pelican cases... the 1510 is carry on legal.
 
Ideally to use it for transporting gear while travelling and for storage of my kit when in one place but also to work from at times. I work at sea on ships/super yachts so often travel to random locations which makes it impractical to take multiple bags.

At present I am using my Pro Runner 300 for this purpose, then when I'm out shooting I usually take my Think Tank Retrospective 20 with what I plan to use for the day packed in it. I understand that bags always end up a compromise and I'm pretty much in the limit of where it can be made, but I think I can just about get away with something.
 
+1 for the flipside I have the 500 which fits a 600mm

If it were me, it would be the pelican and retrospective 20 (I really like that bag)... unless there's some particular reason that won't work for you. I have what is essentially now the 1510SC (padded dividers and lid organizer). If you wanted to, the retrospective 20 will fit inside the pelican packed to go (w/ extra room left over)... maybe, depending on what's packed where.
 
I have the sigma 150-600 and a gripped canon 80D ,I never take the hood off mine ,same problem till I bought a THINK TANK! GLASS LIMO ,takes the camera and lens with hood on plus room for a wide angle and a 70-200 f4 as well ,plus the bag empty is only 1.5kg ,still room for other bits as well
