need to think about a new bag....slingshot 200 is all of a sudden to small for my 70-200...any suggestions on something compact but roomy?:)

i had a Tamrac thang with a laptop hole and all sorts but it was absolutely huge, swallowed all my gear effortlessly but was just too blimmin big!

slingshot is in good order, used but certainly not abused....consider yourself in position 1 matt!

cheers mate, picked sue one up from morris photo for £60 and its AW and allows quick lens changes - puts my micro trekker 200 to shame ;(

thats why i like it, quick to change lenses, dont like backpacks. I have a billingham bag that was given to me but its HUGE

Currently searching for a bag, to hold my 70-200 + 1.4tc and other photo lenses and gear and a laptop, if you find one give us a shout :P

I am into felting handbags right now...so I could knit you a new bag

After something to fit similar gear myself (minus the laptop) was looking at some of the Crumpler bags - Long Schlong, and Geekstar, keep hearing how much these can hold, just cant make my mind up.

You'd be amazed how much Marianne packs into her Long Schlong ......;) even knitting needles (for Matty) and crochet hooks, tablets, lippy, purse, spare earings, ...... actually found a lens the other day - goodness know what that's doing in there

Now you know where to look if you can't find the D200 ;)

No problems on that score Chris. I've installed a homing device to that baby!

ahh but how do you know she hasn't moved the homing device onto something else that is mostly always carried around with the D200?

These women are smart :geek:

aye Warsprite, have been looking at them myself, they are very nice bags

i should get my wife to carry my camara stuff, the amount she packs into her handbag....

The tamrac cyberpacks are excellent if you have lots of stuff, im looking at one again now

I have a Tamrac 5549 which I like for Day trips. It carries Digital and 3 or 4 lenses.I can bend the top down to make it look smaler for flights.I also have Lowpro Road Runner Mini for long trips.Good luck with your Choice.

I'll second that, just a bit bulky.
