I am looking for a bag to take 3 light stands as a minimum - length 84cm, and preferably at least some of my other gear, like strobes, etc.

Does anyone have recommendations please?

I found this one on Amazon that looks pretty good and not too pricey either:-

Anyone had experience with this particular bag, please?

Many thanks in advance for any ideas.

I carry my light stands separate to the heads. I have the lencarta bag which takes 3 stands and then I have another lencarta bag which I can fit 3 heads and a few other bits in. The total cost wasn't much more than the one you linked. Depends on how much gear you have and need to take with you but in my case putting it all in one bag wouldn't be practical. I also have another bag which has my background stands and cross pole in, that came with the background support system I got from Wex and is along similar lines to the Lencarta one. If it was all in one bag I'd never pick it up!

I also carry heads and stands separate, for the stands I use a hockey bag, allot cheaper than a purpose made bag and carries stands, brollys etc. with no issues.

I'd not come across Lencarta before. Thanks for the info.

I have one bag for flash/wb card/reflector/grid/strobes/gels/etc.
One for backdrops.
One for backdrop stand.
Camera bag.
Bag for filters/lightmeter/etc.
And right now a horrible box for light stands and tripods.

I'd like to be able to carry all of my kit in one go or at least in two car trips.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check out hockey bags!

It seems that as soon as something gets labelled as "for photography" it doubles its price!

Quite true Jenny. I also don't use conventional photography bags and i carried 2 stands easily with a tennis racquet bag and the circular part of it tool my 5 in 1 reflector too which is an added bonus. Look around sportsdirect or any local sports shop and see what fits your needs. Remember to take your sizes with you.
