I am currently eyeing up a Fuji X100S and wondered what owners are using to carry their cameras.

I'm not a fan of the leather half/two part cases for these, as they change the handling characteristics too much and block the battery compartment.

I will be carrying the camera, possibly with hood attached, or the optional wide angle converter which I hope to buy also. Obviously (being a fuji X camera) I'll be needing a couple of spare batteries too!

So what fairly discreet, not too large, handy shoulder type bags are around which might suit my needs?

there are some nice small Billinghams about like the Alice/L2 (lovely but expensive). There is also a Think Tank in classifieds now that might suit you (not mine) though having looked again it might be a bit big for an x100

I have found the x100s case by fuji to be the best as you can use it as a half case as well as full protection. The new model also has a flap for battery/SD card access. But if you do use adapters or hoods I haven't really found many cases that fit with them attached.

Bought myself a Crumplet Cup Cake 1500. Daft name (like all Crumplers), but a nice little bag and a good size too. It should easily take the camera with the wide angle converter on it when I get one.
