I'm looking for a decent backpack so I can carry my camera around with me during the day, and also use it for my other stuff (lunch, books, etc). At the mo the bag I am using has room for the SLR, 1 lens... and that's it.

I've been looking at some of the Lowepro bags but I have no idea which I should go for. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

I have just got a Kata. I think it's the 467. It cost £50 in the sale and has a decent size camera bit and a decent sized bit for your regular stuff. It also holds a laptop. Seems a really good bag for the money so far.

I also got Tamrac Adventure 9 aswell that SYX recommended- Its great.

Plenty of room for kit. I'm not worried for the time being about upgrading kit because I know this will have room. Nice pockets for batterys and memory cards.

Seems well made too, shame theres no integrated waterproof cover but you could always buy one.

Check out Joe / Redsnappers range - The quality is excellent (as good as my last Lowepro imho) & price more so (members here get extra 10% off) - I went for a SY517 which can be used as a shoulder bag &/or rucksack & carry a 450D / 70-300mm & kit lens & in rucksack mode you'd get your sandwiches & fizzy in the top no problem ... Paul
