Even asked to shoot some schools badminton in a few weeks and was looking for a few tips?

I've got a 5D MkII, Sigma 24-70 f2.8, Canon 24-105 f4 and Canon 7-200 f2.8 non IS.

Any suggestions welcomed nv

what level do they play at?
it can be a slow game at novice level but if they're really good you'll have mid-air slams that will be too fast to capture easily!

also concentrate on one end at a time.. dont try following left and right... wait for high jumps they kinda give it away in advance if you wait :)

Thanks guys. Kipax, what kit were you using and what settings?

exif in place.. these are iso 5000 and shot at F2 using a canon 135mm f2 lens... but that doesnt make any difference to you as you could be in a better lit room than i was.... shutter was 800 so that might be of some use :)

1dmkIV + 135mm f2

Further to Kipaxs comments.I find the best images are to be found through the net.I move my focus point to the middle bottom, and focus on the legs. This seems to give the most consistant focusing.

Thanks Kipax. looks like high ISO, fast shutter, wide aperture and a steady hand needed!
