Im in the market for a new bag, wondered if anyone had any good/bad experiences with a particular brand?

my budget is around £70, it doesn't need to carry alot, just my 40d, a few lenses, and other general gubbins. Although, if it did have some facility for carrying a tripod that would be a huge bonus as I cart mine everywhere, but I have been having a look around the internet and am yet to see a bag in my price range with a tripod holder. Also have would be a bonus if it didnt 'look' like a camera bag as I am partial to a little candid street photography.

Looked at a few of the low end bags made by Kata, they seem to be fairly well thought out...

Any thoughts, hints or suggestions guys?

ive got a lowepro micro trekker 200

its fairly compact but can store so much you wouldnt believe, i got mine for about 60 i think from my local store(not jessops obviously). its really descrete as its all black and doesnt have much that shouts out camera bag unless you have a tripod attached.

id strongly recomend this

Look at the redsnapper bags, £45 with TP discount, look pretty good.

Also take a look at the Lowepro Fastpack (a couple of the photo mags are giving them away with subscriptions at the mo, about £40 for the year). I have a 250 and really like it.

Yep, I've just signed up for PhotoPlus - for Canon owners and the OP has a 40d - which they are giving away a Fastpack 200 with - plus it's only £1 for the first three issues

Tamrac Expedition Range is quite good. I have the Expedition 5. Held my 40D with 70-200 F4L attached, Tamron 28-75, Nifty, and 350D with Kit lens attached. Room for my flash also when I got that. Tripod straps on the outside, they are useable but not fantastic. Plenty of pockets for batteries, mem cards, manuals, maps, etc too.

Love my mini trecker, got it about a week ago from sevendayshop.com
It was on offer for £65!!

Another vote for the Lowepro Mini Trekker AW - It just swallows gear :)

MiniTrekker does for me. Extra kit can be hung off the sides with their street and field system pouches.

I got a Tamrac Expedition too, I think it's a good bag and was more competively priced than the Lowepro equivalent.
